Created especially for Màloma, the series of illustrations « Friiiche » is an ode to the edible plants of the Josaphat wasteland. Former marshalling yard, the wasteland is today a jewel of biodiversity that extends over 24 Ha between Schaerbeek and Evere. It is threatened by a land use plan aiming at building housing.
Thanks to the magnificent militant work of the collective « Save the Josaphat wasteland », the different plants of the nature reserve have been listed and have served as inspiration for the series of illustrations presented here | 02.2023
